Thank you, Leah, for pointing out that addiction takes on many forms. And whatever the form, God’s Spirit thankfully has the power to bring freedom whether the addiction is to drugs, shopping, or food. My heart in writing the post ached for those suffering in isolation–perhaps near others but too ashamed/afraid to get help. Thank you for commenting!

Drugs, alcohol, money, gambling, body image, fame, fill in the blank..….it is never satisfied. This is a post packed with wisdom for all of us who have battled an addiction.
