The mysteries in and of life have always called me to seek answers to the WHY and HOW. Usually in futility though, I would give up and then just press on. The Bible tells us that God, through His Holy Spirit, will make known to us the mysteries of life and beyond; such beautiful, unbelievable and awesome truths that our finite minds can barely it in, understand or believe. I once asked our only female pastor of our church, ‘How is it that the Holy Spirit knows just the right moment to swoop in to rescue us, to comfort us, to prevent us from harm or injury, to speak to us, etc.#8217; Her answer was very simple and straight:

New International Version John 3:8 NIV –
The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

The Holy Spirit of God moves to and fro at His will, without explanation – He comes and He goes. We are not required, nor is it necessary, to know the How or the WHY. Our part requires only trust, faith and belief that He is for us and acting on our part ALWAYS. It should be almost second nature for those in Christ to feel, to sense and to hear the Spirit of God, which gives us intimacy with Him. When we are quiet before Him, he unravels the mysteries before our hearts.
