Sometimes I believe others’ pain is greater than my own, because I see their faces. Through reading this story, I almost imagine you seeing through one eye the pain, darkness, but still hopeful hearts in those whom you were riding with in the limo; through the other you saw your own hopes and reactions from your good news. But, with both eyes you clearly saw our Lord – in the sky, in the sun, in the trees that wonderfully are always lifting up their hands to praise the Lord. A gesture to encourage you, your attitude witnessed in them. I love it that you could see the tree branches holding up marshmallows to the sun, roasting them to get a taste of life that is so wondrous, a precious gift to be lived with every fiber. Happy and celebrating with you, Alicia, your good news and your family as well. From all your experiences throughout this passage in your life you will be able to strengthen and encourage others to look up, reach up, and to roast marshmallows in the sun too. Awesome thought.
